New Generation of Steel Prismatic Hybrid Battery Released

07 Aug, 2024

In a leap forward for hybrid vehicle technology, the latest Steel Prismatic Hybrid Battery brings cutting-edge innovation. Equipped with high-density NiMH cells, the battery offers improved voltage consistency, reduced internal resistance, and a more efficient temperature sensor base. This upgrade ensures higher accuracy and efficiency, making it a crucial component for modern hybrid vehicles.

The second-generation plastic shell demonstrates clear advantages over the first generation in both test data and structural design. In terms of temperature rise tests, the temperature increase for the second-generation shell is consistent with the first generation, with the second generation showing a slight reduction of about 2°C under high current conditions. When simulating a scenario with significant electrolyte leakage, the second-generation plastic shell maintained an insulation resistance of ≥500MΩ, while the first-generation shell only reached ≤20MΩ. This indicates a significant improvement in insulation for the second generation. Additionally, vehicle testing under simulated high leakage conditions for the second-generation plastic shell has not reported any faults thus far, further verifying its enhanced reliability.

With the enhanced design, users can expect better overall performance, greater durability, and longer battery life, delivering an optimal solution for energy-conscious drivers. Introducing this advanced battery technology represents a major step toward sustainability, meeting the increasing demand for energy-efficient automotive solutions.
